We are excited to announce that we have received our certification for 400 Fairview’s award of the Energy Star NextGen Certification. This award encompasses the standard Energy Star Certification but adds additional criteria for greenhouse gas emissions and renewable energy benchmarks. 400 Fairview benchmarked a score of 92 for the advanced certification, due to our Utility (Seattle City Light)  qualifying for renewable energy sources for source energy and a large reduction in natural gas usage in the building.

As we continually move forward with efforts to improve our energy efficiency, I am happy to say that we currently meet our 2036 Seattle Building Emissions Performance Standards goals. Our team continues to keep the building moving forward with low-cost methods to streamline and reduce unwanted energy consumption to keep making 400 Fairview shine.
